What are NDA's -
and why they matter

NDAs were originally designed to protect information - not to silence people. If you design products and you're asked to sign an NDA to prevent the competition releasing the product first, that okay. If you have been bullied at work until you reach breaking point, being told you have to sign an NDA is not okay (although it is currently legal in most cases).
Non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) can play a legitimate role in protecting confidential information. But they can also be misused - leaving people feeling trapped, isolated, or unsure what they can safely say.
At Change The Chat, we help individuals and organisations navigate NDAs with clarity, compassion, and accountability. Our aim isn’t to tear up contracts, although we've worked with women who have done just that. We exist to break the culture of silence that allows harm to continue.
