Misogyny in the workplace
Women are hurt in the workplace in huge numbers. They are also punished for speaking up.
Change The Chat welcomes all women into our safe spaces to be brave, connect, inspire and learn how to speak up and push back when confronted with sexism. We support women who have experienced maternity discrimination, gratuitous comments, assault, bullying, the gender pay gap, punishment for speaking up and much more.

The conversations we have matter.

How we raise complaints can impact the rest of our lives.

Raising a complaint takes guts, energy, knowledge of the systems at play, confidence, an ability to see round corners and, sometimes, a good chunk of money. Most women who have been significantly hurt or treated poorly don't have overflowing reserves of courage, stamina or confidence. They're exhausted and they're scared.

This is where Change The Chat can help you by:

-
Listening to your complaint in full
-
Supporting you to precisely identify the wrongdoing that took place and the hurt caused
-
Helping to draft grievance statements, emails, role playing conversations
-
Building your inner confidence with tried and tested techniques
-
Building your outer confidence by finding the correct words to raise your complaint
-
Uniting you with others in a similar position (in the case of workplace disputes I can often introduce you to former colleagues who have experienced similar)
-
Helping you to find a solicitor, counsellor or advisory service*

How much does it cost?

If you aren’t aware of your rights when it comes to an uncomfortable conversation about your work, education or health, or you would like support with a complaint or grievance, please get in touch. I’ve also worked with parents who needed support to raise concerns with their child’s school, and individuals who have made serious consumer complaints about corporate failings.
